ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. Most courses are offered at many different levels and last four weeks.

Our English language Academic Year courses in Kaplan Vancouver are nine-month English courses that aim to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. This course has 20 hours of classes per week. Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially designed study materials.

With this Intensive General English language course at ILAC Vancouver, students will develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills as well as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and idioms.

This is the perfect course for students who would like to complement their 20 core lessons with 10 specialised elective lessons. Intensive 30 will allow exploration of an extensive range of elective options as a well as building a solid foundation of language. Our Intensive 30 course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using skills-based and situational learning combined with using one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs. These electives are: exam skills, communication, Academic speaking and writing... among many others.

The Speaking Clinic has been created for students that have mastered the basics of grammar and vocabulary but are struggling to make the leap to oral fluency in English. Differences in pitch and rhythm and difficulties with pronunciation are often barriers to being able to explain your ideas and opinions in English. This course has been specifically designed to perfect your spoken English by concentrating on overcoming whatever is standing in the way of your being able to communicate clearly and confidently.Regular practice with role play and pronunciation error correction, and the use of recording devices to check your progress will help you in your goal to sound like a native speaker of English.You may choose to add an elective course to create an Intensive Program.
