This Standard General English course is a dynamic English language course that gives our students just the boost they need to become more confident in their language skills. Our courses place a lot of emphasis on accuracy and fluency, and our teachers use discussions, debates, games, role plays, as well as authentic learning materials appealing to groups. Classes also revise and build on previously learnt grammar and develop students' vocabulary.

This Package includes a 24 week Course, fees and accommodation in Sliema Residence. Sharing Triple room only. A typical self-catering shared student apartment in the heart of Sliema just 5 minutes walk away from the school. All the modern amenities students require in order to have a comfortable stay are included! The property boasts an excellent location and it is an ideal place for students staying for 8 weeks or more. Students will share a bedroom and bathroom with a max of 3 students in a shared apartment which includes a fully equipped communal kitchen, comfortable dining area and lounge, laundry facilities, free WIFI and water and electricity as well as regular room cleaning and linen change.

With this course, students benefit from group classes in the General English Course and individual lessons when the teacher’s undivided attention is focused on their specific needs. Students choose a number of consecutive sessions of study per day. General English 20 L/W + 5 individual lessons.

Within the Intensive English course, students follow the General English Course and have a further 2 sessions per day of 45 minutes each. They are given the opportunity to consolidate their General English studies and have further options to cover new ground.

Our Intensive English course is one of the most popular courses at ESE in Malta and is ideal for adults who would like to improve their English level in a shorter time frame. By combining group study sessions with one-to-one lessons in the afternoons, you enjoy the benefit of group interaction and the opportunity to focus on any particular areas of English language during the one-to-one sessions with your teacher.

This intensive English course is limited to 2 students of the same level travelling together. Lessons are given by a tutor who plans the course with a view to improving students overall knowledge of English.

Conversation classes place a more specific impact on conversation elements which shall improve communicative abilities for all those attending. By following a General English group course of 30 lessons per week, you develop all your core language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) and improve your general level of English and understanding in all areas of language knowledge. This means that you study and improve grammar in context, expand your vocabulary around everyday topics and improve your pronunciation. By the end of your course, you can expect to be a more confident and fluent user of English.
