CES is delighted to announce for 2018 new university pathway pre-sessional English language programme in cooperation with NCUK. Students will study at CES for 3, 6 or 9 months to raise their IELTS score to the level required to join our partner delivering the Northern Consortium Foundation Programme (NCUK).This will provide guaranteed access to OVER 300 University courses in universities in the UK and Ireland (subject to achieving correct IELTS and foundation results). The programme will provide expert preparation for the IELTS exam as well as giving students the academic study skills required to succeed in the further and higher education environment.

The exam preparation courses are designed to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

English for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.

This English course allows Non-EU students to progress through at least two levels over an 8-month period and gain a professional, internationally-recognized English qualification. This English Academic Year can serve as a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking, with a strong focus on communication. This course has 20 per week and runs in the mornings!!!

CES Dublin is an official IELTS Test Centre. We are the only private language school in Dublin that can offer you the opportunity to study for and sit your IELTS exam in the same centre.IELTS exams take place here twice or three times a month. The Full-Time IELTS Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday. Classes take place in the mornings from 9.00 to 13.00.The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. This class is 20 hours a week.

As such, we offer a range of Executive English courses designed to cater for the needs of both the senior executive looking for a short-term intensive programme and the Corporate customer seeking a Charter Group programme to enhance the capabilities of their international employees. Our Executive Group format combines the high level of personal attention and the fast-paced approach of an individual programme with the student-interaction available in a small group. Classes are either 2 or a maximum of 6 students.

It aims to help develop communication skills that consider the cultural as well as the linguistic challenges to successful communication in English.STAGE 2: PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION – LEVELS B1 TO B2The second stage is designed for professionals who are interested in developing their spoken and written communication skills in an international and technology enhanced environment. The aim is to equip participants to communicate effectively in English in order to be able to progress professionally. Dublin is a hub for international technology companies who employ multinational teams to service European markets in the first language. The language of coordination and management in these companies is always English. however, and in order to progress in your career you need to be able to present yourself well and communicate effectively in that language. Effective communication is about more than just the language, it is about engagement with the culture of the company in an appropriate way.STAGE 3: FOUNDATION FOR STUDY THROUGH ENGLISH – LEVELS B2 TO C1The third stage is designed to equip people to make a success of studying in an English speaking country. The aim is to equip participants to communicate effectively in English in order to be able to progress academically. Effective communication is about more than just the language, it is about engaging with the educational culture in an appropriate way. It aims to help develop communication skills that consider the cultural as well as the linguistic challenges to successful studying in an English-speaking institution.

Berlitz Dublin’s Cambridge Certificate Preparation Course has been designed to prepare participants for entry into Cambridge Examinations process. The Cambridge Certificate Preparation course is delivered as both a stand-alone course and a Skills Module within our English Pathways Programme which can suit students with a busy schedule.
