This program provides students with a foundational background in supply chain management (SCM). Building upon the students’ general baccalaureate academic experience, the program begins with a solid foundation in communications and business. The program then goes on to deliver introductory courses in the 3 main areas of SCM: procurement, operations and logistics; before students embark on their first Co-op work term. Intensive Plus BusinessThe Business English Course combines the Intensive Course with afternoon lessons focusing specifically on developing language skills within the context of the world of business. Topics covered include the language of meetings, negotiations and presentations, marketing, sales and advertising and techniques for telephoning and e-communication. The smaller afternoon groups facilitate interaction in realistic business settings.A minimum level of good intermediate (CEFR B2) is required for this course.
