Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

English is the international language of business. This is why we have developed a special modular course carefully designed to improve your business communication skills. In the mornings you will study on our LSI 30 Course. In the afternoons you will study business modules, covering topics such as Banking and Stock Markets, Marketing and Advertising, Recruitment, Sales and Negotiating. You may choose the particular modules that are of interest to you, or follow the complete course to attain an advanced knowledge of business English.

The General English program combines our core class with a variety of academic and informal methods to take your English proficiency to new levels. Our academic workshops include pronunciation clinics, conversation clubs, homework assistance and more. Develop English rapidly with more skill practice and have fun at the same time!Our program places an exceptional emphasis on speaking. Students will practice speaking skills frequently in class, receiving continual guidance and correction from their instructor.

The exam preparation courses are designed to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

Global Village Hawaii works in coordination with local qualified hula teachers to provide you with an outstanding hula experience. Join one of our English programs (GEP , BEP* or GEP with TOEIC, TOEFL or IELTS options etc. and GV Hawaii will schedule your hula lessons around your schedule at school. If you want a personal and interactive approach you should also consider the LSI Mini group course. Mini group courses include general grammar and skills. The focus on negotiations, presentations and meetings is relevant in business and non-business situations. It is an exciting alternative to LSI General 20 and Intensive 30 courses for more mature learners.

Semi-private lessons will allow students to learn at their own speed and study the content of their choice. Hours are variable and dependent on teacher/classroom availability.• Students seeking a direct, one-on-one attention.• Students wishing to study a particular subject or aspect of the English language at their own pace.• Additional support after a group class.•  Price shown is one lesson per day. Number of lesson per day is flexible so please inquire with school.• $55 per lesson per person (one lesson is 50 minutes).
