The General English and IELTS Preparation Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday. Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. There are three afternoons a week of IELTS preparation lessons.This course focuses on improving students’ English, as well as on developing their exam techniques. At the end of each week, students will be given a progress test. They will also have the opportunity to sit an IELTS exam during the last week of the course(exam must be booked separately.) English Plus courses combine English lessons with a specialized activity.

Designed especially for mature learners, focuses on speaking and listening, and expressing yourself on day-to-day topics.

This course combines 20 lessons of General English classes with additional individual lessons in the afternoons. The morning sessions give you the opportunity to learn in a group setting and practise your skills with other learners. The afternoon sessions allow you to focus in on individual strengths and areas for improvement with your teacher. Before beginning this course, you will complete a needs analysis and interview with a senior member of our academic team so that we can design an individualised programme that meets your needs and requirements.

Our English Teaching Methodology course is designed for non-native teachers of English who want to improve or refresh their skills. The course covers a broad range of EFL topics and the most recent developments in English language teaching. Topics typically include: Methods and Approaches Motivation Functions and Meaning Materials Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening Teaching Roles Grammar Lexis Checking Understanding Phonology Computers in EFL Teaching Beginners Learner Strategies Personal Development. English Teaching Methodology is available to Groups only. A teaching qualification is required to enrol on this course.
