Our English language Academic Semester courses in Kaplan Vancouver are five-month English courses that aim to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. This course has 20 hours of classes per week. Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially designed study materials.

This course includes the General English classes, and also allows you to personalise your course by taking an additional 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of electives. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. As your English and your confidence improve, you will broaden your horizons and gain a huge advantage in your chosen career or education. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

Swedish B1 part 2 is for those who understand most of a conversation but have difficulty understanding if you are not familiar with the subject. In this course, you will learn to become more confident in everyday situations and have more complex conversations. You will learn to explain your opinions and tell about your dreams and hopes.

The Compact Course offers 20 lessons (15 hours) of general English lessons per week in the UK. Lessons will improve all your key skills at a consistent rate: reading, writing, listening, speaking. You will be assigned to your general English class based on your current Kings Level. We have classes suitable for students at Level 1 (Beginner) right through to Level 8 (Advanced), and you will progress up through the levels as your skills improve and your confidence grows. The Compact Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.Languages International’s timetable has three streams. Your classes may be at different times from those in the sample timetable. However, all classes are between 8:30 am and 3:50 pm. All students receive an individual timetable on their first day at school. The 23-hour course consists of 20 60-minute hours in class and 3 60-minute hours of teacher-supervised independent learning.

In this course, we communicate on a wide level and you will get to practice for all the aspects of the YKI-test (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). You will learn to discuss different themes on an abstract level, both in writing and in speech. The course also has a lot of home assignments. Six daily lessons help you to make effective progress in a much shorter time. The six lessons that you will have each day are as follows: - 2 lessons - grammar and general vocabulary exercises - 2 lessons - conversation - 2 lessons - reading, understanding texts, listening, writing The course structure may vary depending on the individual teachers and students. The topics may refer to current articles from local newspapers and magazines. We work with texts that match the students' language skills.
