Do you want to prepare for a special communicative situation or do you need special vocabulary because you got to visit a conference or a trade fair? Do you want to give a presentation in German or did you notice that you generally have problems finding the right expressions? Don’t worry… with both our special courses Business German and Business German Plus you’ll freshen up your knowledge of German in a very short time – no matter in which context you need to use our language. Because a characteristic of both business courses is the focusing on teaching basic language structures as well as the practically, goal oriented training of the subject matter you have defined.The business German courses are designed as individual instruction and are focusing directly on improving, refreshing and the acquisition of specialized and professionally oriented subjects. You are an engineer and would like to present yourself successfully on international conferences? We are going to prepare you for this task and can guarantee you quick results! You will have the choice between 4 and 12 lessons per day and you also have the choice – in case you want to take a maximum of progress at a minimum of time – taking these lessons as a compact course covering one week and 2 full weekends. If you decide for 12 lessons of German instruction per day you can even expect one of your teachers keeping you company at lunch!

Examinations at the B1, B2, and C1 language levels take place at all four course locations at the end of each month. In addition, we offer up to six examination dates yearly at the A1 and A2 language levels and two at the C2 language level. Test takers can prepare themselves with test preparation courses specifically designed to familiarize the test takers with the format of the examinations. The focus of these courses is not so much the process of learning the language as it is becoming familiar with the content and conceptual design of the test. Although it is possible to book an individual preparation course, it is recommended that such a course be taken in combination with a Standard Course or an Intensive Course. Telc-exams: Please verify with the school the availability and need to fill in a specific form for test enrollment.

In LSI Zurich we work with a range of communicative teaching tools that reflect our view of german language teaching. In each chapter we focus on a specific topic in terms of content and grammar, which we work on with introductory grammar, appropriate vocabulary and practical exercises. We usually process a course book in 10 weeks. We need about 20 weeks to progress from elementary level A1 to intermediate level B1, for example.

BWS Germanlingua will guide you in your journey to study German and enter the university. This course focuses on teaching German and consultation to get into the pre-university (Studienkolleg) or university. Besides the german classes, BWS Germanlingua will assist you with all the documentation needed for the academics and stay in Germany while you are studying.

The Intensive Course provides you with the German language skills required for further education, to achieve your career goals and broaden your horizons. In our short-term courses, starting at a duration of one week, you acquire basic knowledge of German or develop your existing language skills in a targeted manner. Prospective university students or those preparing for a professional qualification in Germany can systematically build up the necessary German language skills to meet specific needs in our long-term courses and reach the required language level in best time.
