Our General English program is designed to help you improve your overall ability in English, in all of the main skill areas. In the morning, you practice speaking, listening, reading and writing in an environment focused on communication. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced user of English, our curriculum is designed to get you talking and using real, natural English. Pronunciation and correction of errors are key components of every course. In the afternoon you may add an elective class to create an Intensive program of study. They are designed for busy professionals, executives, and mature learners who hope to improve quickly. Platinum clients have full use of the exclusive Platinum Centres and lounges at all three city-center locations. We aim to offer an environment that is calm, relaxed and welcoming with a range of complementary business facilities and services.

ILSC offers a wide range of courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. Most courses are offered at many different levels and last four weeks.

Apart from the 20 L/W of General English that students have, with this option the choice of an elective is available. There are electives suitable for each level, some of the options are: pronunciation, grammar, speaking, English for business, critical response, English for public speaking, English for social media...

This course develops all aspects of language competence in a personalised programme coordinated by the core teacher. Our General English Morning 20 course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using skills-based and situational learning combined with one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs.

This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. With this English language course, you get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study.

Our General English courses are designed to help students communicate successfully and confidently in real-life situations. Classes have a maximum of twelve students, to ensure that every student receives personal attention from their teacher. Although classes have a focus on speaking and listening, students have the chance to practise all four skills, helping them reach their full potential. Students can choose to study for anything from 1 to 24 weeks.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.
