Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials. Each week you will receive: − 20 English lessons (15 hours) − 8 Specific Skills lessons (6 hours) − 7 Sessions of K+ (5.25 hours) ⦿ Total: 21 hours per week + 5.25 hours of K+

Our standard General English language course allows you to improve all areas of your English language: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing. General English is available as a standard course (24 lessons per week). In this General English language course, you will: - Learn ‘real’ English using the latest course books and materials. - Learn, review and put into practice new language every day. - Be able to develop your communication skills by working with other students doing activities such as role-plays, pair work and group discussions. - Explore new techniques to help you improve your listening and reading. - Practise and improve your writing skills by analysing and producing documents such as emails, formal and informal letters and reports. - Have regular tutorials with your teacher to discuss your progress. - Get up to 2 hours of homework each evening.

This course is composed of: 20 Lessons per week; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes; 15 students max. per class; Age 16+. During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. The Intensive Course is our most popular choice. It combines 20 general English lessons (15 hours) with 8 Special Interest Group (SIG) lessons per week (6 hours). In the general English lessons, students will focus on improving their English language skills across the 4 key skill areas at a consistent rate — reading, writing, listening and speaking. In the Special Interest Group lessons, students can choose from a number of different options based on their own interests and language learning goals. Example options include — Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge); Business English; Group Discussion; Art and Design; Speech and Pronunciation; Academic Writing Skills; etc. The Intensive Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

Study General English three times a week. (Three times per week =3hr per day). This option is great for someone who has a more flexible schedule and wants to study in between shifts. Maybe you work in a bar or restaurant and want to fit your studies around your job. If that person is you, then three classes a week is a great combination. Your teacher will set you homework and extra reading so that don’t miss out. And of course, they will be happy to review any topic with you that you worked on at home.

With this General English language course you will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains, skills and competencies appropriate to your level of ability. Objectives: This programme of study is intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. You will improve your language skills and also enhance your inter-cultural communication.

At Nacel English School, you can study English classes in London from elementary to advanced levels. For our General English language courses, we use the most up-to-date, relevant course-books, materials and resources. Our teachers aim to incorporate the latest, most effective English language teaching methods into their lessons; while maintaining our core approach of developing and integrating your pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar; as well as your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. The School stresses the importance of the teacher-student school relationship.

This General English language course has 24 Lessons per week. Beginner to Advanced levels; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 2 days (6.5 lessons), 3 days (4 lessons). During the lessons, you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.

This General English language course is composed of: 10 lessons per week; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 15 Students maximum per class. Course length: 1-50 weeks. Hours per week: 8 hours 20 minutes. Ages 16+. This course is suitable for students who wish to improve their fluency, vocabulary and pronunciation in a language. There is an emphasis on language for everyday situations and classes may involve discussing topics such as film and theatre, current events, politics, local culture and the internet.

ATA and AYA programmes differ from shorter courses at LSI because students receive a greater level of academic support and management, including two additional weekly sessions with a teacher.
