English Courses

Our General English language courses are suitable for anyone, from beginner to advanced level. If you want to improve your English for academic, personal or professional use, whatever your reasons, we have a course for you. Choose the intensity of study to suit your needs. Develop the four skills of speaking, writing, reading and listening, and increase your awareness of how English works. You will also learn and revise new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and polish your English grammar! This course follows the Standard course structure with an additional 4 lessons of communicative skills practice per week. These extra lessons are designed to give you the chance to develop your confidence in speaking and listening.

The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. There are two afternoons a week of one-to-one lessons, designed to meet the individual requirements of each student. Prior to the first one-to-one session, students complete a Needs Analysis which helps the teacher to plan the one-to-one lessons according to the student’s specific needs. Teachers then work closely with the student to ensure these needs are being met. All students receive a final report detailing their progress and outlining future areas for attention.

Students will learn all the essentials of the English language through a task-based methodology with this General English language course. While the communicative approach is central, we also consider the individual learning style of our students to ensure they achieve the best possible learning outcomes. All four English language skills, reading, writing, listening, and speaking, are given the appropriate class time through our tailored academic syllabus. This course runs in the afternoons!!!

Fast track your learning! An intensive, fast-paced and practical English Laqnguage course which helps motivated students develop knowledge, skills and fluency in English. Our experienced teachers use dynamic teaching methods and engaging materials to guide you to your best results as quickly as possible. Expect regular progress tests, homework and plenty of practice! EE Foundation Entry Requirement: Pre-Intermediate + Study Period: 10 weeks, closed class.

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

This course develops all aspects of language competence in a personalised programme coordinated by the core teacher. Our General English Morning 20 course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using skills-based and situational learning combined with one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs. Our Bespoke English Language programs identify and target individual student needs and prepare them to confidently use English for general communication in a wide range of situations, including travel, work and social interaction. The General ESL Programs at inlingua Victoria College of Languages consists of 6 levels of 10 weeks each. The course is designed for international students seeking practice and improvement in English as a Second Language. As an integrated course, students will focus on speaking, listening, writing and reading, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

The aim of this General English language course is to help you improve your English language skills, make progress and achieve your goals. Learning English in an English-speaking country is ideal because it allows you to perfect your English language skills quickly and easily with practice both inside and outside the classroom. This 20 English lessons per week offer greater flexibility – you can study at home for part of the day, spend time exploring the city, or even combine it with private one-to-one lessons for a more intensive and personal experience.
