This intensive General English language course is made up of 30 lessons per week/22.5 hours per week that combine language learning with a special focus on developing critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. This is best for students who want to study full-time i.e. Monday – Friday (Morning & Afternoon classes)

The Super Intensive French course E includes the morning General French Course A and five afternoon lessons of your choice. This Super Intensive French course E allows our students to add to the three ‘Writing & Grammar’ afternoon lessons or the two ‘Oral communication’ workshops or the two workshops dedicated to ‘French Culture and Civilisation’.

The General English Language Course develops your core language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) so that you can speak English confidently and apply practical English skills to communicate in everyday situations. The Standard General English Course takes place all year round. Lessons are held every morning, from Monday to Friday (09.30 – 13.00 in the UK). Students will work on improving the skills involved with speaking, listening, reading and writing, so that they can improve their comprehension and communicate more freely. They will work on their linguistic knowledge, increasing their vocabulary and deepening their understanding of the grammar and structure of the language. Courses at CES are communicative and task-based, using the most up to date technology and authentic materials. Students are then free in the afternoons to join our exciting social programme, use the self-access facilities, or to explore the rich history and culture of Ireland and the UK.

This DILIT's Combined Italian course is created so students can interact with others in the group lessons but also have a specialized interaction with teachers in the individual lessons. This course will give you an understanding of the Italian language and take you all the way from a beginner to advanced. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

In this course, we communicate on a wide level and you will get to practice for all the aspects of the YKI-test (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). You will learn to discuss different themes on an abstract level, both in writing and in speech. The course also has a lot of home assignments. This is an excellent course if you want to integrate into Finnish society and get work or a place to study after Lärkkulla

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing. UMC has official start dates every 8 weeks in Montreal. Students are allowed to start anytime they want, but they need to be advised about the calendar. We do not recommend they start on the last week of the terms because you'll only review the content and take the final exam.

In the course, you get to talk about lifestyle, leisure, and friendship, among other things. You get to read dialogues and texts and work with word knowledge. We practice natural pronunciation. In grammar, we work with, among other things, word order, adverbs, adjective, and noun inflections, and reflexive verbs. You will learn to write different types of texts.
