ELTS is an increasingly popular exam taken by students who plan to study at university in the UK, either for a first degree or a Master's. We offer a bespoke course which helps you prepare for the exam.A combination of 15 lessons of specialist IELTS preparation and 5 lessons of Speaking & Listening. For an intensive course, add 5 or 10 extra lessons per week of afternoon options.

This General English language course consists of the 20 morning classes plus 20 afternoon specialised elective lessons per week, allowing students to maximise their study day and develop a wide variety of skills. Our General English Super Intensive course covers the key language learning areas of reading, writing, speaking and listening, using one-to-one tutorials and regular progress tests to respond to the student’s individual learning needs.

Our General English language course is our flagship course. This programme combines our General English tuition with a unique curriculum designed to develop your 21st Century Skills and prepare you for career success. The course develops the confidence and skills you need to express yourself powerfully and is ideal if you wish to enter the workforce or advance your career at home or abroad. General English is the centre of our teaching at British Study Centres and will improve your English communication skills in an engaging, interactive way. Using materials from National Geographic Learning and a coursebook that has been specifically designed for BSC, learn new vocabulary, understand English grammar and get support in the areas you need it the most. *Note: 20 lessons = 15 hrs

The teaching programme can then be tailored to meet these needs and the intensity of the course varied to maximise the use of available time.Full-time one-to-one courses can start on any Monday. These courses normally include 22½ hours of tuition per full week (with a reduction when there is a public holiday in the week).

This course is intended for people with limited knowledge of aviation, who are aiming to start their training for a career as a pilot or air traffic controller. This special programme gives them an insight into the world of aviation and an understanding of some of its terminology, whilst improving their general English language at the same time. The course provides a useful combination of intensive general English and aviation English tuition: The intensive programme, adopting an integrated skills approach, focuses on general English language development. The specialised component of the course concentrates on extending the trainee’s aviation English vocabulary, whilst also improving the receptive and productive language skills, using a range of topic areas within the context of aviation.

The IELTS Program is essential for students who need a satisfactory IELTS exam score whether it is for university entrance, professional accreditation or immigration purposes.

This group course is designed for beginner students learning English for the first time.It is a carefully structured programme of 2-4 weeks, with 20 or 28 lessons per week. There is also an option for 22 lessons per week at our schools in New York and San Francisco.After the course, students can progress onto a longer General English or International Semester Course at A1 (elementary) level. You can also choose to increase your progress during your stay by taking 5 or more additional One-to-one lessons per week
