French in Normandy provides intensive DALF and DELF preparation courses designed to prepare students for the exams. The DELF and DALF exams assess the communicative skills of a candidate in real situations using authentic documents. They evaluate functional knowledge of communication. They are issued by the French Ministry of Education and as such, they are recognized everywhere in the world.DELF corresponds to basic skills in French. It certifies that its holder is able to communicate in normal everyday situations.It is divided into 4 units: A1, A2, B1 and B2.DALF corresponds to proficiency level in French. It is divided into 2 units: C1 and C2.The 25 hours / week  include 15 hours of group lessons (maximum 12 students) + 10 hours afternoon exam technique workshops, in groups of 12 students maximum.All levels offered from A1 to C2 all year round.This includes a free access to our daily activities at school (Grammar Fun, Theatre/Book/Cine Clubs), which can add up to 5 hours per week of extra practice of the French language.Examination fees not included

Our Standard French classes programme runs part time and includes 20 lessons per week (15 hours). You will improve your linguistic skills in French whilst also benefiting from time to enjoy your stay in France.
This programme is available for people of all levels of French - from beginner to advanced. It is centred around fundamental aspects of learning a language: reading, writing and comprehension with a particular emphasis on oral expression and phonetics. You will learn to express yourself in both formal and informal environments.

Pathways programmes at LSI's schools in Paris help students gain access into many respected French higher learning institutions. Pathways programmes focus mostly on French language training but also provide support and assistance with university and college applications. In addition, a number of LSI partner institutions in France offer conditional letters of acceptance to LSI students and recognise LSI levels in place of external tests of French.

This programme is reserved for teachers of French as a Foreign Language whose mother tongue is not French. The programme enables you to explore the subtleties of today's French and to work on strategies and group dynamics while deepening your knowledge of French culture and civilization!Course organizationThe training lasts 2 weeks and takes place in one of our schools on the basis of 26 lessons / week. French for Academic Purposes courses provide language instruction for students who wish to study at a university where English is the language of instruction. Language skills addressed include: listening comprehension, fluency development, oral intelligibility, reading, grammar, writing, and vocabulary development for University levels.

A-Level, Leaving Certificate, Gaokao, Abitur, ESABAC, Bachibac, etc.Course start date: : Each Monday for all levels except for complete beginnersCourse start date for complete beginners in 2021 :4/01, 1/02, 1/03, 5/04, 3/05, 7/06, 5/07, 2/08, 6/09, 4/10, 1/11This course is dedicated to the preparation of French exams such as bitur, A-Level, AS-Level, GCSE, ESABAC, Bachibac, Gaokao, LC prep and any type of French exam. In addition to the STANDARD course, you will have 6 lessons per week in a small group of up to 10 people to prepare for the exam of your choice. Content:The specificities of each exam are studied: the course provides grammatical revision through documents selected for the level and type of tests you must pass.
