German and Teacher Training (25 L/W + 7 L)

TEACHING COURSE FOR NON-NATIVE SPEAKERS (from level B1.1)This course aims at German teachers who are non-native German speakers. If you teach German in your home country and want to improve your German and teaching skills and also get cultural knowledge, this course is perfect for you (i.e. German teachers for youths and/or adults). The course consists of 20 lessons general German course per week + 7 lessons of didactic and methodical teacher training. The course also includes 5 lessons cultural/special interest programme per week: e.g. Vienna guided tours; talks and videos about Austrian music, art, history, literature and architecture; Viennese Waltz course; parties; sportsThe costs of the German Teachers' Course can be fully funded by Erasmus+.COURSE DETAILWe run special training courses for teachers who are non-native speakers of German. The courses are an opportunity for you to update your language skills and exchange your experiences with various teaching methods with international colleagues and teaching staff of our language school. Up-to-date information on the Austrian and German language, culture and literature is part of the programme. On one evening, a visit to a theatre or concert or a joint dinner for all German teachers is arranged. On weekends, you can take part in an excursion organised by the school at cost price (e.g. Salzburg, Graz or the Wachau region in the Danube valley).GRANTSFor participants from EU member states and the following countries: Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey. ActiLingua Academy

Actilingua Academy is a private language school with worldwide reputation for successful German classes in Vienna, Austria. Adults 16+ are taught in small international study groups with students from more than 40 countries in a modern school with bright, friendly classrooms. The school is centrally located, only 10-15 minutes from the city centre and the ActiLingua Residence by public transportation. In school, students can use the multimedia library, free Internet and WiFi or simply hang out in our student lounge. Each German course includes an extensive cultural and special interest programme in the afternoons and evenings.
