Course start date and duration
The Work & Study programme is available for non-EU students wishing to study long-term in Ireland. Students on this programme will have 25 weeks of classes at IH Dublin, as well as 10 weeks of holidays, which will entitle them to receive the Stamp 2 student visa for 8 months. Under this visa, you are allowed to work part time (20 hours per week) while studying, and full time (40 hours per week) during the months of June, July, August, September, and at Christmas time. Follow the steps below to select and book your Work & Study Programme at IH Dublin: Step 1: Choose your timetable 20 hours morning classes 15 hours morning classes 15 hours afternoon classes Step 2: Choose your course and final exam General English + Cambridge General English + IELTS (From B1) General English + Business English Cambridge (From B1) Please note that medical insurance is a requirement for the Stamp 2 student visa, and can also be booked with IH Dublin alongside your programme. A final exam is compulsory for the Stamp 2 visa. Need to Know • Minimum age 18 • Levels from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1) • Start every Monday all-year round, except for public holidays.

We cannot apply for visas on behalf of students. However, the language school will provide you with all the documentation you need to support your successful visa application. These documents will be sent to your home address by regular mail free of charge.

The teachers are good, but the educational system is boring, with little interaction and no big news. The space is fine, but the cafeteria is small and the food is unhealthy. I arranged a week-long study trip for my school, and minus two teachers and several welcoming families, everything else was a nightmare. I got the names of the families just five days before I went. Upon arrival, a family did not show up, and three girls were left without accommodation. My students took an excursion and nobody accompanied them.
