General English Plus is a 21 hour per week, intensive course which combines General English and Plus Six. General English covers all 4 communicative skills and essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and phrases. Plus 6 offers students the chance to further practise their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in a more communicative way.Note: Timetable depends on your level of English and the availability. You will either have classes in the morning or afternoon.

As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation. Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

Cambridge English offer a wide range of exams which can help you achieve your goals and increase your opportunities for work, study, and life.Our Cambridge Exam Preparation courses are full time at 15 hours per week. You will be guided through a variety of strategies to help you realise your potential in your chosen Cambridge exam. You will focus on all parts of the exam - reading, writing, listening, speaking, and use of English – as well as exam techniques and academic style. LILA*'s Cambridge Exam Preparation courses are intended to develop the necessary language skills required to pass the exam. As well as the core course material you may also have the opportunity for authentic exam practise with previous Cambridge exam papers.Note: Timetable depends on your level of English and the availability. Cambridge CELTA is an internationally recognised, externally accredited EFL qualification and your first reliable step to teaching anywhere in the world. This course provides fluent speakers of English with high quality training in teaching English as a foreign language and is taken by over 10,000 candidates each year. CELTA is suitable for people who are interested in teaching English abroad or in the UK with little or no teaching experience as well as teachers who are already in the profession but who have no formal or practical teaching qualification. The course includes tutorial support, supervised lesson planning, peer observation, feedback sessions, submission of a portfolio of work and much more.
