Our Standard French classes programme runs part time and includes 20 lessons per week (15 hours). You will improve your linguistic skills in French whilst also benefiting from time to enjoy your stay in France.
This programme is available for people of all levels of French - from beginner to advanced. It is centred around fundamental aspects of learning a language: reading, writing and comprehension with a particular emphasis on oral expression and phonetics. You will learn to express yourself in both formal and informal environments.

Mix individual and group classes to make the most of an opportunity to use your French language skills with other international students whilst devoting some more specific time to your individual needs. This course has15 hours in the morning, in our international groups + 5 hours one-to-one lessons, adapted to the individual student and their particular needs.

This programme is reserved for teachers of French as a Foreign Language whose mother tongue is not French. The programme enables you to explore the subtleties of today's French and to work on strategies and group dynamics while deepening your knowledge of French culture and civilization!Course organizationThe training lasts 2 weeks and takes place in one of our schools on the basis of 26 lessons / week. Classes are held from Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon.The course consists of a multitude of thematic workshops of reflections and exchanges in which you will be approached both orally and in writing.You will leave with educational materials and authentic documents that you will have worked on during the methodology workshops.- Refreshing cultural knowledge- Classroom techniques and practices- Class materialThroughout the programme, syntactic and lexical reminders will be made to help you improve your language skills.The course is complemented by a programme of cultural activities and discovery of the city and the region chosen (museum visits, guided tours in the city, evening outings, excursions).

French Plus courses combine French lessons with a specialized activity.

The « French course for long stays » is suited to students who wish to have a full linguistic and cultural experience over several months and to become proficient in the French language. By choosing this program you are guaranteed to improve your French and gain at least 1 or 2 levels of the CECR. The goals are to:- Understand- Communicate- Express yourself orally and in writing by developing all four skills (speaking, writing, reading, and listening) daily.

Summer Programs are designed for young learners, where they enjoy language classes in a multicultural environment, where they can practice the language and experience trips and social activities.

The DELDF / DALF are language diplomas that are recognised at a national level which certify a linguistic aptitude in French. Our DELF / DALF preparation programmes allow you to confidently tackle the exams and ensure your success on the day of the exam.The classes for preparation DELF and DALF offer intensive preparation for exams. In addition to the STANDARD course, you will have 6 lessons per week in a small group of a maximum of 5 students to prepare for the exam of your choice: DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2, DALF C1, DALF C2.The STANDARD classes allow you to gain the fundamental skills for the chosen level of exam.The preparation modules for the DELF / DALF train you to master the 4 language skills assessed during the exam: written, oral and oral and written comprehension. French in Normandy provides DALF and DELF preparation courses designed to prepare students for the exams. The DELF and DALF exams assess the communicative skills of a candidate in real situations using authentic documents. They evaluate functional knowledge of communication. They are issued by the French Ministry of Education and as such, they are recognized everywhere in the world. DELF corresponds to basic skills in French. It certifies that its holder is able to communicate in normal everyday situations.It is divided into 4 units: A1, A2, B1 and B2.DALF corresponds to proficiency level in French. It is divided into 2 units: C1 and C2.10 hours of specific exam preparation workshops in the afternoon, in groups of 12 students maximum.All levels offered from A1 to C2 all year round.This includes a free access to our daily activities at school (Grammar Fun, Theatre/Book/Cine Clubs), which can add up to 5 hours per week of extra practice of the French language.Examination fees not included
