This is all supported by specialised, targeted, online resources through our online learning system, E-LSI.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.Course contentThe morning and afternoon sessions will focus on helping you develop your general English language skills through a variety of useful and engaging materials and activities. Every week will include:Grammar and vocabulary carefully selected by your trainer based on your needs and goals. You will practise these throughout the weekA focus on speaking, with the majority of your classes designed to maximise your speaking timeExtended fluency activities including discussions, role-plays and presentations. These will give you the opportunity to develop your speaking further and bring together the grammar, vocabulary and skills you have worked on during the weekListening and reading activities from a range of sourcesA focus on writing skills, for example formal and informal emailsPronunciation. This may be in the form of a dedicated lesson and/or connected to the grammar, vocabulary or skills you are studyingPractical communication strategies, for example agreeing and disagreeing politely, interrupting, showing sympathyA focus on social and intercultural EnglishCorrection and productive feedback on your speaking and writing

The Intensive General English Course is suitable for students who want to maximise on work carried out in the Standard Course. This course takes place all year round. Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course from Monday to Friday (09.30 -13.00). There are also three afternoon lessons a week Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (14.00 -16.30 in the UK) which are focused on improving the students’ speaking skills and ability to communicate through English. In the afternoon lessons, students have the opportunity to improve their communicative proficiency through discussions, topical debates, authentic materials and use of portable and static technology. Course content is partly negotiated and partly based on TED lectures.

Private language lessons are the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is totally determined by the needs and desires of the student. The hours of this course are flexible which makes it possible to book such a course together with another course option.Private Lesson Structure The participant has a great influence on the lesson. Therefore the individual lessons are structured in a different way. The teacher and the student focus on fields the student wants to improve.Such instruction is focused on objectives with a particular purpose, like for example to prepare for a lecture or interview, or for medical or legal jargon. In this case, you should inform us in advance so everything can be performed as desired. The costs may increase slightly compared with the normal form of individual lessons.

Our maximum class size is 12, which ensures that you will have personal attention from your teacher. This course runs in the mornings.

With this English course we give you all the tools needed to achieve your academic, professional and personal learning goals. With your full commitment, we guarantee that you will progress to the next level of English in the time expected. If you do not progress within this time we will offer extra learning support and classes to help you reach your goals. Your timetable is flexible and will be tailored to your needs. You will study the morning programme from 10:30 to 13:00 Monday to Friday and and do extra classes on some afternoons (13:30 – 16:00) depending on the total number of hours you register for.
