This course is intended for non-native teachers of other subjects who wish to develop their own English language skills. It is specifically aimed at teachers of other subjects, who have to teach their subjects through English.

Students follow the Standard Course in the mornings and have Business English lessons three afternoons per week.The Business English lessons are designed for students who wish to improve their communicative proficiency in a business environment. The lessons can be tailored to suit the needs of any particular group of students and focus primarily on the specialised language of Business English.Please note that this course only runs if we have a minimum of 8 students booked.The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. 1 lesson in the UK = 45 minutes1 lesson in Ireland = 55 minutes

Our Methodology and Language Development course is intended for non-native English teachers who wish to refresh their own language skills and examine different teaching methods and approaches. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

Intensive Plus BusinessThe Business English Course combines the Intensive Course with afternoon lessons focusing specifically on developing language skills within the context of the world of business. Topics covered include the language of meetings, negotiations and presentations, marketing, sales and advertising and techniques for telephoning and e-communication. The smaller afternoon groups facilitate interaction in realistic business settings.A minimum level of good intermediate (CEFR B2) is required for this course.

Description​General English programmes are suitable for everyone and provide a good foundation in the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. With a strong focus on communication skills, these courses also provide a solid foundation in the key skills required in the Trinity College London ISE Examinations as well as Cambridge examinations.The method used is task-based, which means that by the end of each level students are expected to be able to complete a certain amount of tasks through English. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and a range of other books.All courses incorporate the use of Digital Interactive Whiteboards, the Internet and audio-visual technology. AwardISI Certificate in English. This course provides opportunities for teachers to discuss and share ideas with colleagues from Europe and beyond.

Our long-term English language Academic Year Programmes (AYP) offer you a substantial level of flexibility. You can combine different modules and courses to suit your individual requirements. Long-term program students usually begin in our Intensive English Language Course to gain a firm understanding of general English skills.

Combined CourseThe Combined Course is designed to provide a thorough knowledge of general English combined with a focus on particular areas of interest or priority for the individual student.Students participating in our Combined Course follow a morning Intensive Course with an additional five hours of individual tuition. The individual afternoon lesson allows participants to concentrate on specific areas of language development and work on a one-to-one basis with the teacher in order to achieve their academic goals.
