Eurocentres’ English Language Courses in Cape Town will teach you all aspects of English for everyday purposes. They are available in different levels of intensity. Our courses are designed to empower you to become a confident and effective communicator in international settings. Designed especially for mature learners, this English language +30 Core Course + Business focuses on speaking and listening, and expressing yourself on day-to-day topics. The programme is very flexible and consists of core morning classes, which all students have, and then optional afternoon electives so you can choose the course that best suits you, your language needs and your personal preferences. This option focuses on communication, intercultural exchange and functional skills with participants of different nationalities and commercial backgrounds in the context of professional situations – presentations, meetings, negotiating, leading an international team, intercultural awareness in working environments.

The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for General 20 in the morning. During the afternoon there is a range of electives to suit all levels, needs and interests. 30 Lessons per week; 15 students maximum: 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 25 hours; Age 16+.

During the lessons of this course you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

The afternoon General English course is a less grammar intensive, diverse range of classes allowing specialisation in a variety of elective English subjects. Through the use of elective lessons, our afternoon course allows students to focus their language learning on specific skills they'd like to improve. These include English for journalism, exam skills, academic speaking and writing, confident speaking... among many others.

With this Intensive English Language Course from OHC Dublin, you will join multi-national language classes following a syllabus closely mapped to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, covering key language domains, skills, and competencies appropriate to your level of ability. The objectives for this English Language course are intended to enhance the all-round language and communication skills of those who wish to work or study more effectively in an international context. Participants will also have the opportunity to establish relationships and share points of view with international colleagues.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination.This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.
