This "Compact Course" from LSI is for those with special needs which must be met in a short space of time. Requiring just one week away from the office, this french language course is ideal for busy professionals and executives who need to prepare for presentations and meetings abroad. The course consists of 92 lessons in a 9 days period. This course only starts on Saturdays.

This course is the standard variant of France Langue's weekly courses. This course starts every Monday and accepts any student with any level of the french language. However, complete beginners must start on the first Monday of the month. The standard 20-lesson program (at school) is made of:12 lessons of General French classes + 4 lessons of academic project + 2 lessons of Linguistic Reinforcement + 2 lessons of weekly “Meet the locals” session.

Our French Standard course is an essential basis for understanding the French language in all its aspects by working on both oral and written skills. The intensive French Long Term course for adults is made up of 10 additional lessons focused on oral practice to help make communicating with French people daily easier. You will get the chance to test your French before your arrival thanks to our placement test which helps us to place you in the best class adapted to your French level, from A1 (Beginner) level to level C2 (Advanced).

In BLI Montreal enhance your knowledge of specific french language skills through project development and task-based learning. The Intensive French Language Course combines the linguistic learning of the Standard Course with additional French lessons set more specifically to develop all the oral skills (oral comprehension and expression). It is a good balance between all basics of French learning (writing, reading, listening, and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and the use of French to improve your oral expression and your knowledge of France. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 3 afternoons a week from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Standard French Language course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon. BLI bilingual program gives you the opportunity to learn, review and practice all aspects of language learning, covering all four skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening), grammar and vocabulary for both French and English. Bilingual program consists of French classes in the morning and English classes in the afternoon. The approach is communicative and student-centred and the classes are dynamic and engaging.
