ILSC Montreal offers a wide range of General French language courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. At the end of the four week session, your french language level will be assessed. You can then choose new courses and/or move up a level in yourcurrent or new course. Evaluations are based on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB). Course topics: *Listening, *Speaking, *Pronunciation, *Reading, *Writing, *Vocabulary *Grammar

During the course, you will learn to greet, introduce yourself, talk about family, leisure, studies, work, etc. and make purchases. We practice very natural pronunciation. You can read simple dialogues and shorter texts and practice understanding spoken Swedish. You learn the grammatical basics, such as word order, tempus, noun and adjective inflections, pronouns and prepositions.

Our Semi-Intensive English course is a semi-intensive programme that allows you to balance classroom tuition with structured study and free time activities. You will improve your English language ability at a speed you feel comfortable with, while having time to enjoy your destination. This course is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced and you will be placed in a class which is suitable for your level. The course focuses on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking. You’ll also learn vocabulary and grammar, and how to speak in formal and informal discussions and strategies.

Based on an integrated skill curriculum, General English core classes teach students specific strategies to improve their English while electives reinforce the core language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Eight language benchmark levels accommodate student progression from a beginner learner with little English skill to advanced language proficiency. Some of the course highlights: Weekly progress testing and feedback, monthly English proficiency assessment, personalized education plan designed to meet academic goals and theme-based lessons apply learning to real-life situation.

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation.Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

This course is for those who have previous knowledge of Swedish but wants to learn more! When you have completed this course you will have knowledge of Swedish grammar and pronunciation as well as knowledge of the Swedish society. The course is communicative and focus is on providing you with a knowledge of Swedish so you can deal with your everyday life

Our ESL classes are based on a unique UMC Model that maximizes student-teacher interaction and communicative learning when studying English. Designed and created in UMC, our unique techniques and activities used in the classroom are designed to develop both fluency AND accuracy with the ultimate goal of language production. Each lesson is allocated to different skills such as listening strategies, vocabulary development, reading, writing skills, pronunciation, fluency improvement and so on. That maximizes our 4-week terms and allows you to focus on the core skills you need to become proficient. UMC has official start dates every 4 weeks in Toronto.

Structured like a real university year, our English Language Academic Year course in Kaplan Vancouver is a nine-month English course that aims to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. You'll build invaluable skills for your future and make lasting memories as you explore the new city and culture around you. Our Intensive Academic Year course allows you to maximize your classroom time, with extra lessons focusing on specific skills such as business English, academic English, literature or TOEFL/IELTS preparation. This course has 26 hours of lessons per week.
