Eurocentres’ English Language Courses in Cape Town will teach you all aspects of English for everyday purposes. They are available in different levels of intensity. Our courses are designed to empower you to become a confident and effective communicator in international settings. The General English course will cover the four main skills you need to write and speak English(reading, writing, listening and speaking), with an emphasis on practical communication in common situations, such as travelling, shopping, and leisure time.There will be support with grammar and pronunciation, and we will also introduce study skills to help you to become an efficient learner and to keep learning English when you are out of the classroom.

This course is made up of 30 lessons (22.5 hours) per week including the General English classes. It also allows you to personalise your course by taking 10 lessons per week across a wide selection of Special Focus options.

Our General English courses are ideal if you use English for everyday purposes.  The intensive course will teach you English vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation together with the four skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing.  In the afternoons you will take skill-based elective classes to help you improve your English at a faster pace.

This Intensive English course adds an additional 7.5 hours of English to the core General English course. The additional 10 afternoon lessons each week will give students the opportunity to put into practice the new language learnt in the mornings. Students will develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. They will also work on extending their vocabulary. During these lessons the main focus will be to help students speak more fluently and interact more effectively in a variety of real life situations.

You will develop fluency, accuracy and appropriate uses of English across all four language skills. You will benefit from excellent guidance, monitoring and feedback throughout this course. Taking the time to seriously focus on your English will open up unlimited opportunities for you. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

Taking the time to seriously focus on your English will open up unlimited opportunities for you. This programme is for students who study for 24 weeks or more.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency.
