The Combination Course combines small group classes with private lessons. This combination allows students to take advantage of the unique benefits of both group and private classes and to design a complete Spanish study program that works best for their individual needs. Students will have the opportunity to not only encourage interaction and communication skills in a group environment but also benefit from the undivided attention and personalized feedback that is only possible in a one-on-one environment. The course is best for students who are ready for an intensive schedule and who want to advance more rapidly and effectively through the Spanish-language curriculum.

Students who take our most popular intensive Spanish course in Madrid will develop their language skills in an interactive small group environment with an average class size of six students. Small classes allow for personalized attention from the professor in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Students will be completely immersed in the Spanish language while participating in 20 lessons per week. With sessions held either in the morning or the afternoon, our classes are engaging and interactive and are designed to help students develop the four key language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 9:30am to 1:30pm or 2:30pm to 6:30pm

Students can prepare for the SIELE Exam, or “Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española”, at Expanish as well as sit for the exam.
SIELE certifies the degree of proficiency for the Spanish language with four tests: reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression and interaction, and spoken expression and interaction; the exam also takes as a reference the levels established by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

The preparation course for the DELE exam consists of individual classes in Madrid, Spain, specifically designed to ensure the student develops the necessary competencies to pass their selected level of the exam (beginner, intermediate, or advanced). Beginner students wanting to take the DELE course will need approximately 8 weeks of lessons before starting at DELE A1 level. The classes introduce a variety of activities to promote development of the four basic skills (writing, reading, conversation, and listening), all of which are necessary to successfully pass the DELE exam.

The Group Course of 30 Lessons in Madrid, Spain, is the most intensive Spanish immersion course available at Expanish. In addition to regular group classes in the morning, this Spanish immersion course offers an additional two hours of extra group classes in the afternoon that focus on providing students with practical experience and a focus on writing and speaking in everyday situations. This course is a great option for students who want to: Learn beyond the specific content of their level's curriculum and focus on real communication and situational context. The Evening Group Course is a less intensive option for those who work or study during the day. Classes are held two nights per week and students can start at the beginning of each month. This course is perfect for those who want to improve their level of Spanish in a more relaxed atmosphere and meet other expats in your same situation as it is intended for local residents.
