This online programme provides students with all the language and academic learning they need to attend a Canadian college or university. With these tools, and the assistance of our Pathway counsellors, students can then apply to a range of institutions across Canada, including some of the most highly ranked colleges and universities in the country. Studying in Canada is the first step to staying in Canada.What can you expect on this programme?Programme Structure  Levels Each level is 10 weeks long The University Pathway core classes is split into two 5-week terms There are three levels – Upper Intermediate, Pre-Advanced, Advanced Check your chosen college to see which level they require Materials All levels use Oxford University Press: English for Academic Purposes ​Course Structure 20 lessons a week of core English1 project to be completed each week Progress assessments conducted every 5 weeks4 lessons per week Special Focus classes, focused on Study Skills and Workshops Assessment Projects designed to consolidate students’ skills over their 10-week course ​Exam-style timed writing Peer Review designed to help students practice working collaboratively with others, take responsibility for their own learning, and deepen their understanding of the course content EC Progress Assessments When you reach the university’s required English level with EC, you will be admitted to the university without a TOEFL/IELTS exam. Whether university is a stepping stone to immigration or simply to further your education before returning home, your new skills and qualification will open the doors to a new future!Class Time ZonesStudents can choose between their school’s local time zone or the following time table (in case the student is back in-country).Included with every course:Live core classes available: Monday to Friday 16:00 London time (11:00 Toronto time), and at 01:00 London time (17:00 Vancouver time) ​Live special focus classes available: Tuesday and Thursday 19:30, London time (14:30 Toronto time), 23:15 London time (15:15 Vancouver time)Lessons delivered by qualified, experienced English-speaking teachers Five 180-minute interactive online English classes Monday to Friday An extra two 90-minute interactive online English classes on Tuesday and ThursdayUnlimited self-study with access to materials on EC Online Learner Oriented Assessment FREE access to Microsoft Office for 12 months including Word, PowerPoint, and much more!
