The TOEFL Preparation course is for students who need a satisfactory TOEFL exam score for university entrance in the United States.This program focuses on improving reading, writing, listening and speaking. The exam can be taken at the school or in the student’s own country since there are test centres all over the world.This course is ideal for students who want to prepare thoroughly for the TOEFL exam. In addition to developing TOEFL skills and strategies, students improve their overall academic English proficiency so that they are better equipped for studies at a US college or university.The course is 31 lessons (23.25 hours) per week — 20 lessons (15 hours) TOEFL Skills and Strategies + 7 lessons (5.25 hours) online targeted practice + 4 sessions (3 hours) guided study. 

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.The Intensive Course is a course designed for students who wish to improve their overall English language level, and to develop their skills and knowledge in a particular language area through a range of Special Interest Groups.Please note, start date for beginners is the first Monday of every month.

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.The Compact Course is ideal for students who wish to improve their overall English language level, yet still have plenty of time to explore their surroundings and practise their English skills outside of class. The Compact Course included 3 additional hours per week or structured self-study and a student visa is required to study this course at Kings Boston. 

Studying the Diploma of Intensive English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.This long-term course is the best value way to achieve real fluency, gain specialist subject knowledge and enjoy a memorable college year or semester abroad.Course format = 20 lessons of general English + 8 lessons of Special Interest Group (SIG) classes per week Please note, start date for beginners is the first Monday of every month.

The Vacation TOEFL course is for students who need a satisfactory TOEFL exam score for university entrance in the United States.This program focuses on improving reading, writing, listening and speaking. The exam can be taken at the school or in the student’s own country since there are test centres all over the world.The Vacation TOEFL has 20 lessons (15 hours) per week. This course is ideal for students who want to prepare for the TOEFL exam, yet still have plenty of free time to explore their surroundings and practise their English outside of class. In addition to developing TOEFL skills and strategies, students improve their overall academic English proficiency so that they are better equipped for studies at a US college or university. 

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.The Vacation Course is a course designed for students who wish to improve their overall English language level, yet still have plenty of free time to explore their surroundings and practise their English outside of class. The Vacation Course can be studied on a tourist visa up to 12 weeks. Vacation Course = 20 lessons (15 hours) per week of General English lessonsPlease note, you may alternatively have an afternoon schedule during the Summer.

English Plus courses combine English lessons with a specialized activity.IMPORTANT:Those students not booking Kings’ accommodation (residential or homestay), must paid the Campus Support fee (Add-on) for the same length of the program (weekly charge), to have full use of on-campus facilities such as gym, library, cafeterias, etc.

The course is 35 lessons per week: 20 instructor-led TOEFL skills practice lessons, 8 instructor-led Special Interest Group lessons to focus on specific topics or skills, and 7 online targeted practice sessions.

It will be challenging but realistic and attainable.We use our own Kings Scale, benchmarked against all main exams and assessment scales: IELTS/TOEFL/Cambridge/CEFR so you can compare your progress to these other measuresYou will receive progress assessments and individual tutorials every 6 weeks. These will benchmark and test your progress.You will also be continually assessed based on your performance in class, your homework assignments, and your weekly in-class progress tests.All students will receive an ‘End of Course Report’ which will include your final grade, determined by progress across all key skills areas.
