The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK and 09.00-13.00 in Ireland). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. In addition, each course is supported by a published EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. A combination course is 20 hours in the morning and 5 hours of one to one lessons.

CES is delighted to announce for 2018 new university pathway pre-sessional English language programme in cooperation with NCUK. Students will study at CES for 3, 6 or 9 months to raise their IELTS score to the level required to join our partner delivering the Northern Consortium Foundation Programme (NCUK).This will provide guaranteed access to OVER 300 University courses in universities in the UK and Ireland (subject to achieving correct IELTS and foundation results). The programme will provide expert preparation for the IELTS exam as well as giving students the academic study skills required to succeed in the further and higher education environment.

The General English course and IELTS Preparation Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday. Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. There are three afternoons a week of IELTS preparation lessons. This course focuses on improving students’ English, as well as on developing their exam techniques. At the end of each week, students will be given a progress test. They will also have the opportunity to sit an IELTS exam during the last week of the course (exam must be booked separately.)
