If you are unhappy with your homestay, we will quickly give you a new homestay for no extra charge. When you apply you can tell us what kind of family you would like.We have many types of homestay families. Although you cannot specifically choose your family, you can tell us what kind of family you prefer. We will do our best to match you with a host that meets your preferences.Here are some preferences you can request:married couple, no childrenmarried couple, with childrensingle persondog or cat in house (most families in Canada have a dog and/or cat. These animals will not go in your bedroom)other studentsOne of the most important parts of homestay is spending time speaking in English with your family at meal time. Students selecting breakfast only (usually breakfast is self-serve) will not have nearly as much interaction with the family.
