Our General English courses are designed to improve your English language skills and give you more professional and academic options in the future. As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination.The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.

The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for General 20 in the morning. During the afternoon there is a range of electives to suit all levels, needs and interests. 30 Lessons per week; 15 students maximum: 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 25 hours; Age 16+.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

During the lessons of this General English language course, you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You use a text book and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. 25 Lessons per week; Beginner to Advanced levels; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; 2 days (6.5 lessons), 3 days (4 lessons).

Our five month English Academic Semester course aims to get you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. As well as this general English course, you can choose an Intensive Academic Semester course, in which you will study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation.Immerse yourself in the English language and spend a semester studying, getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially produced study materials.

This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. With this English language course, you get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study.
