This course is ideal for you if you mainly need to use English at work or in a business environment. It takes place in the afternoon and is combined with a 20 lesson morning General English course. The course will cover a range of business and work related topics, including speaking in meetings, giving presentations, negotiating, email and report writing, networking, making decisions and many more.

The General English course will cover the four main skills you need to write and speak English(reading, writing, listening and speaking), with an emphasis on practical communication in common situations, such as travelling, shopping, and leisure time.There will be support with grammar and pronunciation, and we will also introduce study skills to help you to become an efficient learner and to keep learning English when you are out of the classroom. Important: Brazilian agencies must book through the Cape Town USD campus.

The exam preparation courses are designed to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. This Intensive English course adds an additional 7.5 hours of English to the core General English course. The additional 10 afternoon lessons each week will give students the opportunity to put into practice the new language learnt in the mornings. Students will develop their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. They will also work on extending their vocabulary. During these lessons the main focus will be to help students speak more fluently and interact more effectively in a variety of real life situations.
