ILSC English Language English Schools in Sydney offers a General English Part-Time Morning Course with 16.5 lessons per week. Our General English Language courses aim to improve every aspect of your English so that you can communicate effectively with speakers from across the globe. Our approach is to provide a stimulating and highly interactive environment in which you can develop your language skills. Lesson content concentrates on speaking, listening, reading and writing skills, as well as grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. Every week you will work on developing and improving all language skill areas, with a focus on active communication in real life situations. You will also be given regular homework and weekly tests to check your progress. The 3 daily classes of 60 minutes will take place in the time slots detailed below. The exact schedule is assigned on the first day of class, according to your level. This course is available in the afternoons from 14:00 hs to 17:15 hs.

The General English syllabus is 15 hours (15 x 60) per week and is designed to improve the student's understanding of the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. All levels from elementary to advanced are catered for throughout the year. This course runs in the afternoons and is designed for those students who wish to have free time to explore the city or do other activities.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Our General English language courses are designed to improve your English language skills and give you more professional and academic options in the future. As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination. The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. This course has 15 lessons per week. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.

Using a communicative methodology, this course provides rapid improvement while immersing you in the Spanish language. The objective of these courses is for you to be able to communicate and take your Spanish into real-world situations.

The Intensive English Language Course consists of 15 weekly lessons focused solely on general English. These are lessons focused on developing reading, writing, oral and listening comprehension and conversation. You will have three hours a day of class, each lesson is 60 minutes, with the estimated timetable being from 9:00 to 12:25, Monday to Friday.

On the General English 20 Course, you attend a core of 20 lessons per week (15 hours), which will give you a practical understanding of the English language and take you all the way to fluency. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

This General English language course has 30 Lessons per week; 15 students maximum; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 25 hours; Age 16+. The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well-rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for General 20 in the morning. During the afternoon there are a range of electives to suit all levels, needs and interests.
