A $500 AUD administration fee is applicable to all refund applications unless waved by Albright Institute.
Enrolment fees, material fees, administration fees and fees paid to education agents are non-refundable unless mentioned specifically in your Student Agreement.
Prior to Commencement of Studies
Notice of withdrawal in writing, 60 days or more prior to commencement date of the course, except when withdrawal is due to visa refusal for reasons outside of your control, or due to compassionate or compelling circumstances: Full refund of the course tuition fees, excluding other fees paid e.g. enrolment fee.
Notice of withdrawal in writing, less than 60 days but more than 28 days prior to commencement date of the course, except when withdrawal is due to visa refusal for reasons outside of your control, or due to compassionate or compelling circumstances:
Standard circumstances: 70% of the course tuition fees paid, excluding other fees paid e.g. enrolment fee.
Compassionate or compelling circumstances: Refund amount at the discretion of Albright Institute’s CEO or their delegate.
Notice of withdrawal in writing, less than 28 days prior to start date of the course, except when withdrawal is due to visa refusal for reasons outside of your control, or due to compassionate or compelling circumstances:
Standard circumstances: No refund.
Compassionate or compelling circumstances: Refund amount at the discretion of Albright Institute’s CEO or their delegate.
Course withdrawn by Albright Institute: Refund of all unused fees within 10 working days of the official announcement by Albright Institute.
Offer of enrolment withdrawn by Albright Institute for any reason other than that you provided false or misleading information in the application: Full refund including all enrolment fees, material fees The $500 administration fee does not apply.
Offer of enrolment withdrawn by Albright Institute because you provided false or misleading information in the application: Full refund of all monies paid minus administration fee and enrolment fee.
Enrolment cancelled, including cancellation caused by a breach of student visa conditions or any illegal or unlawful conduct by the student: No refund and you are liable to pay all the fees which become due until the cancellation date of the CoE.
You decide to cancel or withdraw your enrolment before or after commencement, once the initial visa is granted and you have arrived in Australia: No refund.
On or after Commencement of Studies:
The course starts at the location on the agreed starting day, but the student does not start the course on that day or within the census period, being 2 weeks from the enrolment date, and has not previously withdrawn, due to any reason outside those specified under compassionate or compelling circumstances: No refund.
Failure to commence or provide notice of withdrawal when there are compassionate or compelling circumstance: Refund of all course fees paid, less enrolment fee and fees paid to education agents.
If you withdraw from a course of study after commencing, for any reason outside those specified under compassionate or compelling circumstance This includes where you withdraw because you have received a new visa and are no longer going to hold a student visa. This is not considered a compassionate or compelling circumstance: No refund.
If you withdraw from a course of study after commencing, for any reason specified under compassionate or compelling circumstance: Refund of all unused fees, less enrolment fee, material fee and all fees paid to education agents. The $500 administration fee does not apply.
Enrolment is cancelled due to not meeting course requirements or pre-requisite conditions: Refund of all unused fees less enrolment fee.
If you abandon the course without notice: No refund and you will be held liable for the outstanding fees of the course.
Albright Institute is unable to deliver the course offered in full: Refund of all unused fees within 10 working days of the date the course ceased to be provided. The $500 administration fee does not apply.
Enrolment cancelled due to a breach of student agreement terms and conditions, e.g. student default, a breach of student visa conditions, unsatisfactory course progress, misconduct, or illegal or unlawful conduct: No refund.
You apply to withdraw from the course and the request is approved: Refund of all unused tuition fees less material fee, enrolment fee and all fees paid to education agents.
You apply to transfer to another provider prior to completion of six months’ study of the principal course and the request is approved: No refund of any fees paid to Albright Institute for the current course or any package courses.
Compulsory health insurance for student visa holders. Refer to Overseas Student Health Cover provider.
RPL application, should it be deemed unsuccessful: No refund.
