The Semi-Intensive Spanish Course of 10 lessons is taught in small groups, with students who have the same level of Spanish as you. You will work on all aspects of the language: grammar, conversation, and vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and writing in Spanish. Courses have a communicative character and will give you the confidence to use your Spanish in everyday situations. In choosing the intensive 10 you will normally be in a class with students following the Intensive 20 course. This requires more dedication and self-study outside the actual lessons, in order for you to follow the pace of the group. If you are an absolute beginner we recommend that you attend one of the general intensive courses, combination courses or individual lessons. Classes generally take place in the morning. Depending on the season and destination, classes could be in the afternoon.

The exam preparation courses are designed to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

Our Intensive Academic Year courses are 9 month English courses that will improve your English fluency to the highest level, with more lessons than our general English Academic Year course. As well as learning important general English, you can choose to study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation.Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially designed study materials.

This course is an excellent choice if you want to improve your general linguistic communication skills and still have free time. Classes usually take place in the morning, so that you can make the most of your time off in the afternoon and take part in the organized activities, perfect for exercising your German language skills! ILSC is a fully-integrated English instruction institution with modern facilities spread across two floors. ILSC–Melbourne is equipped with a total of 29 classrooms and 2 computer labs. You may be asked to leave the lab if a teacher wished to use the computers for a class. The inviting break-out spaces provide students with access to free filtered water (hot and cold), microwaves and refrigerators, as well as vending machines with snacks and cold drinks available for a nominal fee. The ILSC café, which is run by students, sells during the breaks barista-made coffees as well as tea, chai and hot chocolate. There are several study tables which are equipped with charging stations for you to power up your cell phones and other devices. The campus also has foozball and ping pong tables, as well as a video game console that are free to use. In order to play video games and ping pong, see reception and pay a deposit in order to get access. A prayer room is also available to students.
