Our schools offer a comprehensive student support service along with and all lessons being made up of a wide range of activities helping you to become a confident communicator. Our team of teachers give you all the support you need throughout your course and use a wide range of materials in their lessons to help you develop all aspects of your English language. This is a structured course that suits all levels and is an ideal way to develop your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Please note: Entry Level CEFR A1-C2 (Elementary to Advanced). Individual English training is available via Skype, or face to face in Holland Park Gardens for people adding individual training to a group course. Your trainer will deliver English lessons based on your individual goals. You will discuss these with your trainer who will create your custom-made programme. Our Intensive (30 lesson) General English & CAE course helps students improve all their skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and learn the grammar, vocabulary and cultural knowledge necessary for living in the UK and using English in an international context. We focus on practical, effective and natural communication and you will get at least five pieces of new language in each 45-minute class.Mornings are coursebook-focused lessons - grammar and vocabulary. Afternoons we focus on materials and exercises to help you practice the Cambridge exam tasks and prepare effectively.The cost of the exam is included in the price   

The teaching programme can then be tailored to meet these needs and the intensity of the course varied to maximise the use of available time.Two people from the same company at the same language level and with similar needs may benefit from a 2:1 course. This course is designed for people who want to improve their English level and also develop their skills for using English in a business environment. It combines 20 morning lessons of General English with 8 afternoon lessons focusing on English for Business and students can study for between 2 and 12 weeks.Topics covered will include managing business meetings, negotiations, using the telephone for business, giving presentations and writing professional reports, emails and letters. Students can also choose to prepare for the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) during the course.

The IELTS Preparation course is aimed at students who need to improve the key language skills needed to score as high as possible in all part of the IELTS exam. Students study 20 lessons of General English lessons (15 hours), and 8 lessons of IELTS preparation lessons (6 hours) each week. They can also combine the course with additional one-to-one lessons of IELTS preparation as required. The International English Language Testing Services (IELTS) is the most established English language assessment exam recognised world-wide by universities, governments, and professional associations. The IELTS Program is essential for students who need a satisfactory IELTS exam score whether it is for university entrance, professional accreditation or immigration purposes.

This programme combines our General English tuition with a unique curriculum designed to develop your 21st Century Skills and prepare you for career success. General English is the centre of our teaching at British Study Centres and will improve your English communication skills in an engaging, interactive way.
