Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Aimed at speakers of other languages, this course equips students with the basic tools required to teach English as a Foreign Language.Topics covered: Language analysis; Lesson planning; teaching the skills of reading, writing, listening, speaking; classroom activities; using resources and materials; looking at learners’ needs; dealing with learners’ mistakes.

In the mornings you will study on our LSI 30 Course. In the afternoons you will study business modules, covering topics such as Banking and Stock Markets, Marketing and Advertising, Recruitment, Sales and Negotiating. You may choose the particular modules that are of interest to you, or follow the complete course to attain an advanced knowledge of business English.

A Business English Course will help you understand the world of business and get the language skills needed in a globalized market. You will explore different aspects of business communication and understand key areas of modern business practices.

The exam preparation courses are designed to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.Our timetable is double banking. On Group A classes are held on monday, wednesday,friday during morning time and tuesday and thursday during afternoon On Group B classes are held on tuesday and thursday morning time & monday, wednesday and friday during afternoon. Academic English combines general English with a focus on key academic skills and exam English. The programme includes regular, focussed grammar and vocabulary reviews, which allows students to target their individual language needs while developing their academic reading and writing skills. This is all supported by specialised, targeted, online resources through our online learning system, E-LSI.

If you want a personal and interactive approach you should also consider the LSI Mini group course. Mini group courses include general grammar and skills. The focus on negotiations, presentations and meetings is relevant in business and non-business situations.  It is an exciting alternative to LSI General 20 and Intensive 30 courses for more mature learners.
