Imagine Education Australia - Brisbane English Language College offers its students a General English Standard Night course (20 H/W). This course will give you the confidence and skills to communicate in everyday English. It is designed to develop and improve English language skills such as speaking, reading, writing, and listening. Classes are graded from beginner to advanced levels, meaning you can comfortably build on your English language knowledge starting from functional English right through to more academic English. Our world-class trainers are dedicated to your success and course delivery is fun, modern, active, and challenging. Our General English courses are designed to improve your English language skills and give you more professional and academic options in the future. As well as taking lessons, you will have plenty of time to sight-see and explore your destination. The course is semi-intensive, and is available at all levels from Elementary to Advanced, with classes made up of different levels. The focus is on the four main aspects of language: reading, writing, listening and speaking, and all our schools offer extensive and varied activities programs to help you make the most of your destination.

Our English language Academic Semester courses in Kaplan Vancouver are five-month English courses that aim to take you from your current level of English up to a very high level of fluency. This course has 26 hours of classes per week. Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially designed study materials.

Based on an integrated skill curriculum, core classes teach students specific strategies to improve their English while electives reinforce the core language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. Eight language benchmark levels accommodate student progression from a beginner learner with little English skill to advanced language proficiency.

General English Language Courses at Lexis English offer students the flexibility of combining their English language education with a large range of options classes – personalising each student’s course to suit their academic needs. For students wanting to brush up their English skills for travelling, employment or to work towards a placement in one of our academic programs or Certificate or Diploma courses, our General English course is designed to get results. We understand that every english student comes to Australia with unique goals, plans and learning needs. Lexis 360° is our student care program designed to ensure that all Lexis students receive individual support and attention, initiating the most successful study experience possible. General English Full-Time is CRICOS registered and consists of a minimum of 20 hours per week with an additional 5 hours per week of Guided Individual Learning (GIL).

Our standard ESL program has ten levels that range from beginner to intermediate to advanced classes. Students will take classes that focus on different English language skills such as reading, listening, grammar and communication. As students improve theirs level they can take other language skills such as pronunciation, conversation or writing.
