French Courses

The Intensive French Language Course combines the linguistic learning of the Standard Course with additional French lessons set more specifically to develop all the oral skills (oral comprehension and expression). It is a good balance between all basics of French learning (writing, reading, listening, and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and the use of French to improve your oral expression and your knowledge of France. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 3 afternoons a week from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Our long-term Standard Plus French language course is a combination of the Standard Course, plus 5 lessons of individual one on one instruction per week. In the Standard French lessons, teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading.

This course is the standard variant of France Langue's weekly courses. This option is perfect for those willing to start learning the French language or improve and perfect their level while enjoying enough free time to take advantage of their stay in France. This course starts every Monday and accepts any student with any level of the french language. However, complete beginners must start on the first Monday of the month. The standard 20-lesson program (at school) is made of:12 lessons of General French classes + 4 lessons of academic project + 2 lessons of Linguistic Reinforcement + 2 lessons of weekly “Meet the locals” session.

The Standard Long-Term French Language course for adults covers all language skills (oral as well as written). Your 4 French daily lessons will allow you to better understand the language in all its aspects and you will learn to get by in any situation you are presented with. To get you in a French class that corresponds to your level, level A1 beginners to advanced C2, our French school gets you to sit a placement test before your arrival.

The sixth daily lesson added to the Intensive 25 course is focused on writing skills organized in a mini-group with a maximum of 6 participants. This is a quick and effective option to improve your oral and written communication skills.

During three afternoons per week, our ACCORD French Grammar and Writing lessons encourage our students to improve their understanding of French grammar and their writing skills. These French Grammar and Writing lessons are open to all levels, from complete beginner to advanced. Great nationality mix at ACCORD Paris: no nationality over 12%.

ILSC Montreal offers a wide range of General French language courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. At the end of the four week session, your french language level will be assessed. You can then choose new courses and/or move up a level in yourcurrent or new course.
