Evening classes are ideal for students who want to maintain their English without committing to a full-time course. We provide a welcoming environment to make learning in the evening a pleasure. Regular organised get-togethers with LILA’s international and English speaking students enable you to activate your newly acquired language skills.

Our Bespoke English Language programs identify and target individual student needs and prepare them to confidently use English for general communication in a wide range of situations, including travel, work and social interaction. Students are taught essential grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening skills through interesting topics such as: Countries and Cultures Ambitions and Dreams Leisure and Lifestyle Memory Future Society

One-on-one lessons will allow students to learn at their own speed and study the content of their choice. Hours are variable and dependent on teacher/classroom availability.• Students seeking a direct, one-on-one attention.• Students wishing to study a particular subject or aspect of the English language at their own pace.• Additional support after a group class.•  Price shown is one lesson per day. Number of lesson per day is flexible so please inquire with school.• $85 per lesson (one lesson is 50 minutes). For two lessons per day, $170/day will be charged. 

Studying a General English course will give you an understanding of the English language and take you all the way from beginner to fluency. This course focuses on communication skills, speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Our Intensive English course is one of the most popular courses at ESE in Malta and is ideal for adults who would like to improve their English level in a shorter time frame. By combining group study sessions with one-to-one lessons in the afternoons, you enjoy the benefit of group interaction and the opportunity to focus on any particular areas of English language during the one-to-one sessions with your teacher.

A Business English Course will help you understand the world of business and get the language skills needed in a globalized market. You will explore different aspects of business communication and understand key areas of modern business practices.Our timetable is double banking. On Group A classes are held on monday, wednesday,friday during morning time and tuesday and thursday during afternoon On Group B classes are held on tuesday and thursday morning time & monday, wednesday and friday during afternoon. The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday (09.30-13.00 in the UK). Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. All morning courses are based on our CES Curriculum Framework Document which has common CEF learning objectives for each level. In addition each course is supported by published an EFL course book and its syllabus. Teachers complement this syllabus. Course books are sold at the schools at shop prices and students must buy one on their first day. Second hand books may also be available.Levels available: Elementary (A1), Pre-intermediate (A2),  Intermediate (B1), Upper Intermediate (B2) Advanced (C1). There are two afternoons a week of one-to-one lessons, designed to meet the individual requirements of each student. Prior to the first one-to-one session, students complete a Needs Analysis which helps the teacher to plan the one-to-one lessons according to the student’s specific needs. Teachers then work closely with the student to ensure these needs are being met. All students receive a final report detailing their progress and outlining future areas for attention. The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. A combination course is 26.6 lessons (20 hours) per week.15 hours General English in the mornings and 5 hours one-to-one lessons in the afternoons in the UK and in Ireland 20 hours in the morning and 5 hours one to one lessons.

The exam preparation courses are design to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

In the ACCORD Intensive French-language Course B, students develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, and over one afternoon workshop focus on specific topics. This Intensive French language Course encourages students to improve their French language skills through the use of authentic material and updated resources. This course starts every Monday, but for beginners the start date is the first Monday of the month. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and one afternoon from 2:15pm to 5:15pm.
