French Plus courses combine French lessons with a specialized activity.

Course start date: : Each Monday for all levels except for complete beginners. Several sectors are available: business, tourism, medical, law, sustainable development or the military. The 50+ French language courses for seniors at our French language school in Montpellier goes through the 4 competences according to the CEFR recommendations: oral and written expressions, and oral and written comprehension. Grammar is exploded, your lexical knowledge embellishes with new expressions and refined phonetics through various articulatory exercises. Our French Language School in Montpellier offers a program designed with care so as to meet the needs and interests of each one of you. To reinforce communication and exchange with other students, the Course for over 50s offers you a large repertoire of visits and excursions. You can participate in both guided tours of the city and excursions in its surroundings and, at night, tasting workshops and tasting of products are organized in local restaurants.

Our Standard French classes programme runs part time and includes 20 lessons per week (15 hours). You will improve your linguistic skills in French whilst also benefiting from time to enjoy your stay in France.
This programme is available for people of all levels of French - from beginner to advanced. It is centred around fundamental aspects of learning a language: reading, writing and comprehension with a particular emphasis on oral expression and phonetics. You will learn to express yourself in both formal and informal environments.

Course start date: : Each Monday for all levels except for complete beginners. This course is dedicated to the preparation of French exams such as bitur, A-Level, AS-Level, GCSE, ESABAC, Bachibac, Gaokao, LC prep and any type of French exam. In addition to the STANDARD course, you will have 6 lessons per week in a small group of up to 10 people to prepare for the exam of your choice. Content:The specificities of each exam are studied: the course provides grammatical revision through documents selected for the level and type of tests you must pass. The Standard French Language course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon. The Intensive French Language Course combines the linguistic learning of the Standard Course with additional French lessons set more specifically to develop all the oral skills (oral comprehension and expression). It is a good balance between all basics of French learning (writing, reading, listening, and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and the use of French to improve your oral expression and your knowledge of France. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 3 afternoons a week from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
