The exam preparation courses are design to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

Learning English 'Cambridge style' is a more intensive experience than studying General English at the same level. The programme is designed to help you match your fluency with a high degree of accuracy. You will quickly gain confidence and develop your own unique style of expression.  You will build a rich vocabulary and review grammar,which is tested in the Use of English component of the exam. The course has  a strong emphasis on functional English to make you better-equipped to communicate flexibly in your workplace or university, and in society. That is why a Cambridge Certificate is seen as a life-long qualification and not just a piece of paper! The Cambridge Test is one of the most recognised tests around the world, and a lot of companies in non-Englishspeaking countries require you to have a Cambridge test score when you apply for a  job. Cambridge CAE is also accepted by the Australian Department of Home Affairs for visa purposes and for entry into Bachelor and Master's courses at all major Australian universities.Who is this course for?The Cambridge English course is designed for students who wish to acquire the language and test-taking skills necessary to undertake the Cambridge test. Because Cambridge qualifications are recognised by over 20,000 universities, employers and governments around the world, having a Cambridge English certificate gives you avariety of opportunities as it is a very prestigious qualification to possess.This course is also a perfect option for those students who are not even planning to sit the test but who would like to have a real challenge in English learning.What skills will you gain?The Cambridge English course is a 2-level program offered at First (FCE) and Advanced (CAE) levels. Each level takes 12 weeks to complete. Our dedicated teachers have meticulously created our syllabus to incorporate all four language skills and knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.  The IELTS examination is fast becoming the leading standardised test for English Language globally and the English proficiency test for University admissions in the UK. Our IELTS course aims to prepare students with the skills and strategies needed to undertake the IELTS test with confidence and to succeed in the IELTS examination.  Focussing on the IELTS exam and suitable for students studying for IELTS 5.5 – 7.5, students will practise and develop the skills needed for the exam.  This course is usually recommended for 5-6 weeks. Start dates: we usually have a continuous enrolment policy, this means students can start any Monday, however we would strongly advise to check availability with the school before booking an exam course. Also entry onto these courses is dependent on passing the school pre-test to a sufficient level. A test will be emailed to the student at the time of the booking, however all students will be tested again on arrival. Should students not be at the right level, our directors of studies may suggest they join a General English course until they have reached an adequate level.

Cambridge English offer a wide range of exams which can help you achieve your goals and increase your opportunities for work, study, and life.Our Cambridge Exam Preparation courses are full time at 15 hours per week. You will be guided through a variety of strategies to help you realise your potential in your chosen Cambridge exam. You will focus on all parts of the exam - reading, writing, listening, speaking, and use of English – as well as exam techniques and academic style. LILA*'s Cambridge Exam Preparation courses are intended to develop the necessary language skills required to pass the exam. As well as the core course material you may also have the opportunity for authentic exam practise with previous Cambridge exam papers.Note: Timetable depends on your level of English and the availability. Intermediate to Advanced. Regular practice tests and tasks that allow students to become familiar with a variety of content and the exam structure. Feedback and academic counselling that allows students to target specific areas of weakness and ways to improve on them.

Our TOEFL® and Academic English Exam Preparation course will give you the test skills and the level of English that you need to do well on your exam.We focus on test-taking strategies and highlight the academic English skills needed for exam success. The course includes TOEFL®-focused reading, writing, listening and speaking, plus practice exam questions and online simulation tests that mirror the real TOEFL® ibT.Students unable to attend a live course could instead enrol in Kaplan’s TOEFL® Online Course

ELTS is an increasingly popular exam taken by students who plan to study at university in the UK, either for a first degree or a Master's. We offer a bespoke course which helps you prepare for the exam.A combination of 15 lessons of specialist IELTS preparation and 5 lessons of Speaking & Listening. For an intensive course, add 5 or 10 extra lessons per week of afternoon options.

The TOEFL test is internationally recognised in the English speaking world, highly regarded by companies and a requirement for enrolment at colleges and universities in the USA and Canada.
