English Courses

The Business English Intensive course combines 20 group lessons (15 hours) of a maximum of 6 learners with 10 private tuition lessons (7.5 hours) in the afternoon. Following a Business English course allows you to improve your English for career or work purposes. The course will help you develop the core language skills which are necessary for business such as listening, speaking, reading and business writing. You will you become more fluent and confident meeting other business people speaking about business-related topics. In addition, you will develop your knowledge of the language (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) in the context of general business topics.

This is a great option for students who want to develop English skills for employment and practical business situations.Topics include negotiating, networking, managing meetings, interviewing, and socializing in a business environment. Students learn how to write effective business memos, letters, e-mails, informal and formal reports and presentation materials.Students also gain the ability to give effective presentations and develop the skills necessary to pass the Cambridge Business English Examination (BEC), which is internationally recognized and tests the skills for using English in the workplace.ILAC accepts students every Monday, however, students are strongly encouraged to begin on Main Start Dates. This is a unique intensive Berlitz Business English Course and offers the single, most effective way to learn a language in a short space of time. The business English course starts at 9.00 AM and finishes at 6.00 PM each day and includes a ‘working-lunch’ with your teacher, a 3 way conversational session with two teachers, multimedia- study and a self-study period each day. The Business English Course is from Monday to Friday and incorporates 60 lesson units per week.
