The Business English Intensive course combines 20 group lessons (15 hours) of a maximum of 6 learners with 10 private tuition lessons (7.5 hours) in the afternoon. Following a Business English course allows you to improve your English for career or work purposes. The course will help you develop the core language skills which are necessary for business such as listening, speaking, reading and business writing. You will you become more fluent and confident meeting other business people speaking about business-related topics. In addition, you will develop your knowledge of the language (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation) in the context of general business topics.

This is a great option for students who want to develop English skills for employment and practical business situations.Topics include negotiating, networking, managing meetings, interviewing, and socializing in a business environment. Students learn how to write effective business memos, letters, e-mails, informal and formal reports and presentation materials.Students also gain the ability to give effective presentations and develop the skills necessary to pass the Cambridge Business English Examination (BEC), which is internationally recognized and tests the skills for using English in the workplace.ILAC accepts students every Monday, however, students are strongly encouraged to begin on Main Start Dates. This qualification would apply to individuals with various job titles including executive officers, program consultants and program coordinators. Individuals in these roles may possess substantial experience in a range of settings but seek to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions. Conversely, it may also apply to those with little or no vocational experience, but who possess sound theoretical business skills and knowledge that they would like to develop in order to create further educational and employment opportunities.

Our English Pro Program is for students wishing to enhance their English language study with personalized instruction in specific topics of interest by offering them a customizable, comprehensive package!HIGHLIGHTS:> Students enroll in the General English Program (GEP) for 16 lessons/week.> In addition to GEP, students take 2, 4, or 6 tutorials per week (private or semi-private) that focus on their chosen topic of interest.> Students choose their topics and teachers meet their needs.> Attention to students' specific English language learning goals during tutorials helps them become "pros" in their areas of interest.EXAMPLES OF FOCUS AREAS INCLUDE:Business, TOEFL, TOEIC, Power Speaking, Aviation, IELTS and more...
