The Standard French Language course consists of 20 lessons per week of group instruction. Teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading comprehension through the analysis and discussion of authentic documents and listening comprehension. Note that during the summer high season, some Intensive and Standard courses are only available in the afternoon. The Standard Long-Term French Language course for adults covers all language skills (oral as well as written). Your 4 French daily lessons will allow you to better understand the language in all its aspects and you will learn to get by in any situation you are presented with. Life in Montpellier is fun, and you have all your time after class to make the most of it. To get you in a French class that corresponds to your level, level A1 beginners to advanced C2, our French school gets you to sit a placement test before your arrival.

Our French Standard course is an essential basis for understanding the French language in all its aspects by working on both oral and written skills. The intensive French Long Term course for adults is made up of 10 additional lessons focused on oral practice to help make communicating with French people daily easier. You will get the chance to test your French before your arrival thanks to our placement test which helps us to place you in the best class adapted to your French level, from A1 (Beginner) level to level C2 (Advanced).

Our long-term Standard Plus French language course is a combination of the Standard Course, plus 5 lessons of individual one on one instruction per week. In the Standard French lessons, teachers focus on an interactive teaching method with the goals of expanding the students' vocabulary and knowledge of French culture and civilization; broadening his or her familiarity with grammar and its structures, as well as written expression of the French language; improving oral expression through group discussions, reading.

The Intensive French Language Course combines the linguistic learning of the Standard Course with additional French lessons set more specifically to develop all the oral skills (oral comprehension and expression). It is a good balance between all basics of French learning (writing, reading, listening, and speaking), grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and the use of French to improve your oral expression and your knowledge of France. The hours of this course are from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 3 afternoons a week from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
