The programme provides a language enrichment component designed to improve the participants’ knowledge and use of English, including vocabulary, grammatical knowledge, functional knowledge and pronunciation. There is a focus on current methodologies and practical teaching skills, with material taken from the Cambridge TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) preparation course. Students have the option to take the TKT exam at the end of the course in order to obtain an official Cambridge certificate.

This course is designed for lawyers and legal professionals who are required to use English in their work environment. We aim to equip students with the necessary skills to communicate effectively with both colleagues and clients. The programme focuses on communication skills and the formal register required within the legal profession, as well as specific legal terminology. Course content can be tailored to specific needs and students also have the possibility of preparing for and taking the internationally recognised TOLES examination at Berlitz Manchester.
