The exam preparation courses are design to help you achieve the result needed in your chosen language exam. These official language exams are used as a proof of language proficiency for immigration purposes, university admissions, or for employment. In this course you will learn and develop test-taking strategies and skills.

The General English Language Course develops your core language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening) so that you can speak English confidently and apply practical English skills to communicate in everyday situations. Our General English courses are suitable for students from Elementary through to Advanced level.

The Fluency Intensive option is one of our Intensive English Courses in Malta. This course combines 20 lessons of General English in the mornings with 6 lessons of individual training in the afternoon. Before beginning their intensive general English course, students will complete an extensive needs analysis and interview with our Academic Manager to design their individual afternoon program. Our Intensive English Courses allow students to make remarkable progress from their very first class. The morning sessions give students the opportunity to learn as a group and practice their skills with other learners. The afternoon sessions allow each student to individually meet with their teacher so that personal strengths and weaknesses can be focused on.

You gain basic knowledge of Swedish so that you can be understood and understand others in simple everyday situations. The course is fast-paced and suitable for those who want to learn Swedish quickly. Swedish A1 is for beginners who do not know any Swedish.

We offer General English language courses for all levels, from beginner to proficiency. We also offer timetables that give you the flexibility to choose a course that best suits your needs from 1-36+ weeks. We believe that you will learn faster and more effectively if your lessons are engaging, fun and relevant, that’s why our teachers use a range of techniques and develop classes that are motivating and build your confidence. This will allow time to focus on any areas of weakness. Any weekly programme is influenced not only by the course book syllabus but also by the learning goals and interests of the students in any one group.

This General English language course consists of the 20 lessons of the General Main English course plus 8 additional lessons per week which provide further practice in all aspects of English. The timetable below is a sample. Please note that timetables are subject to the English of the student. Classes can be either in the morning or afternoon. Learning Outcomes: by the end of the course students should be able to communicate in English more confidently in different situations outside the classroom.

The Combination Course takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday. Morning lessons follow the same programme as the Standard Course. There are two afternoons a week of one-to-one lessons, designed to meet the individual requirements of each student. Prior to the first one-to-one session, students complete a Needs Analysis which helps the teacher to plan the one-to-one lessons according to the student’s specific needs. Teachers then work closely with the student to ensure these needs are being met. All students receive a final report detailing their progress and outlining future areas for attention. The minimum age is 16 and there is a maximum of 14 students per class. A combination course is 26.6lessons (20 hours) per week. 15 hours General English in the mornings and 5 hours one-to-one lessons in the afternoons in the UK.

We offer a standard course, which is primarily designed to develop the four skills of speaking, writing, reading and listening, and to increase your awareness of how English works. You will also learn and revise new vocabulary, improve your pronunciation and polish your English grammar! This Super Intensive language course follows the Intensive course structure with an additional 4 lessons in all 4 skills plus pronunciation and lexical extension.

We focus on all the key areas, such as speaking, reading, writing and listening. After you finish a course, you will be given a report and certificate. KAE is accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English in the UK, so you can be sure of the quality of our courses. Our intensive course is great for those that need to improve quickly. Students will learn how to use English clearly and accurately within a short period. This course will also educate students on how to use English naturally in everyday situations. Classes focus on accuracy, fluency and pronunciation. In the mornings we focus on grammar and English language use. In the afternoons, we focus on speaking, listening, reading, fluency and pronunciation. Students on this course should expect to make big improvements in their English skills.
