This Communication Englisg course is designed to help you communicate effectively and with ease in a wide range of situations from social settings to debates and presentations. FOC combines the morning oral communication periods (Periods 2, 3 and 4) with select afternoon workshops designed especially for FOC students, such as Power Speaking and Debating. You can change your workshop topic weekly allowing you to better customize your studies to your individual needs. In addition to class work, this course includes one free Chat Buddy session (3 to 5 hours per week) per month. Your Canadian Chat Buddy will help you to practice your conversational skills outside of the classroom and become familiar with Canadian life through a variety of social activities.

ILSC Montreal offers a wide range of General French language courses. You can take any combination you wish, depending on your interests, goals, language level and schedule. At the end of the four week session, your French language level will be assessed. You can then choose new courses and/or move up a level in your current or new course. France Langue's weekly courses are open to any level, from complete  beginners to advanced levels, C1. The courses ​consist of 20 lessons of 45  minutes in a week, in the morning or in the afternoon from Monday to Friday + 5 additional  courses of an hour and a half. The Compact Course offers 20 lessons (15 hours) of general English lessons per week in the UK. Lessons will improve all your key skills at a consistent rate: reading, writing, listening, speaking. You will be assigned to your general English class based on your current Kings Level. We have classes suitable for students at Level 1 (Beginner) right through to Level 8 (Advanced), and you will progress up through the levels as your skills improve and your confidence grows. The Compact Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

This course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. With this English language course, you get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study.
