With this full-time course, you will quickly learn how to effectively communicate in a professional business environment. Learn with business case studies, business role plays, and practical job seeking skills. Additional optional lessons allow you to focus on the specific areas that you want more help with. Get more practical business experience by combining your Business Intensive course with an Internship placement in Australia or New Zealand, or supplement your course with our Practical Business Intensive service in the US.

This course allows you to study both English and French in unique surroundings, and with exceptional flexibility.Our timetable is double banking. On Group A classes are held on monday, wednesday,friday during morning time and tuesday and thursday during afternoon On Group B classes are held on tuesday and thursday morning time & monday, wednesday and friday during afternoon. CLLC’s Intensive Program gives students a great foundational focus to their English Language education by studying 25 hours per week (33 lessons/week). Students can choose two classes from the primary class options, Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking, and IELTS Preparation or Business English. CLLC’s Elective Plus One class is also included and gives students the opportunity to focus on additional language skills that are different from their primary classes.

The Academic English course at LAB Vancouver is designed to focus on:+ Grammar Structures+ Academic Vocabulary Building+ Reading Comprehension+ Writing SkillsThis course allows students to improve their reading skills and grammar accuracy in both spoken and written English. In this class, a wide variety of reading texts are studied in detail. The diversity in content exposes students to a broad range of vocabulary and grammar, as well as literary forms. Students practice reading comprehension and analyze relationships between words as they practice using new vocabulary in different contexts. This English language course prepares students with the skills and strategies they need to make the transition to college and university courses in the English language and other secondary school disciplines. Students are encouraged to develop independence in a range of academic tasks. They will participate in seminars, lead classroom workshops; read and interpret a range of academic texts; take effective notes during lectures and class discussions; write essays, narratives, and reports; and apply a range of learning strategies and research skills effectively.
