CLLC’s Intensive Program gives students a great foundational focus to their English Language education by studying 25 hours per week (33 lessons/week). Students can choose two classes from the primary class options, Reading & Writing, Listening & Speaking, and IELTS Preparation or Business English.

This Long Term course gives you the opportunity of living and learning more about the culture and social life of both England and Ireland. Our special long term rates are only available to CES agents. Bookings must be a minimum of 24 weeks to avail of these rates. Students have the opportunity to really further their English language, by learning over a greater length of time. If long term students have the appropriate level, they are welcome to move to our IELTS/Cambridge Examination Preparation Courses or General English with Business English! You can divide your stay as you wish and you can start your course in either England or Ireland - we leave the choice to you. We do recommend that all students who require a visa start their Multi-Destination course in the UK.

Our Intensive Academic Year courses are 9 month English courses that will improve your English fluency to the highest level, with more lessons than our general English Academic Year course. As well as learning important general English, you can choose to study specific sections of vocabulary and skills, such as Business Intensive and exam preparation.Immerse yourself in the English language, and spend a year studying and getting to know a new location and culture. The course is an effective way to increase your fluency, and you will be helped by our exclusive and specially designed study materials.

The Intensive Course is our most popular choice. It combines 20 general English lessons (15 hours) with 8 Special Interest Group (SIG) lessons per week (6 hours).In the general English lessons, students will focus on improving their English language skills across the 4 key skill areas at a consistent rate — reading, writing, listening and speaking.In the Special Interest Group lessons, students can choose from a number of different options based on their own interests and language learning goals. Example options include — Exam Preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge); Business English; Group Discussion; Art and Design; Speech and Pronunciation; Academic Writing Skills; etc.The Intensive Course is available year-round with weekly start dates, and is suitable for students of all English levels.

The Academic Year Programmes are designed for long-term English language training and are ideal if you plan to study English for 6 months or more. They provide excellent value for money and a flexible approach to your studies. You can choose from any of our standard or intensive course provided you meet the entry requirements. This course is perfect for those who want to study at a UK university or develop their business careers.

This General English language course has 30 Lessons per week; 15 students maximum; 1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 25 hours; Age 16+. The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well-rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for General 20 in the morning. During the afternoon there are a range of electives to suit all levels, needs and interests. The Intensive Spanish Course of 30 lessons is a more intensive course that increases your classroom time by offering 6 group lessons per day from Monday to Friday. It is just like the standard 20 lessons course but has 2 extra small-group Spanish lessons every day. These extra group lessons are generally taught in even smaller groups and focus on conversation, improving your fluency and communication.

During the General English language lessons, you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. In a further 2 lessons you concentrate on: speaking, listening, reading, writing. You will use a textbook and a wide variety of materials and exercises including roleplays, authentic materials, newspapers and magazines. For courses longer than 24 weeks, please refer to the International School Year courses. 20 Lessons per week (4 lessons per day);1 lesson: 50 minutes; Hours per week: 16 hours 40 minutes;15 students max. per class; Age 16+.

This General English language course is only available to students studying in the USA or Canada. You get 24 lessons (18 hours) per week of General English including four lessons per week in your choice of Special Focus study. Your confidence will improve as we train you in all four communication skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing.
