Our Japanese Plus Conversation course in Fukuoka uses interesting and modern materials and learning activities to focus on improving your Japanese speaking ability in a way that gives you the flexibility to adapt to new situations. Note: This course is not available for low beginners. To take this course, you must have studied up to at least book 1, chapter 5 of a beginner's Japanese textbook such as Genki: An Integrated Course in Elementary Japanese (at least 5 weeks/100 lessons). If your ability level is not high enough to take this course, we may offer you private lessons, or a different course, or a refund instead.

Since 2015, GenkiJACS’ Fukuoka Japanese Language School has been accredited by the Japanese government to offer student visas for one-year courses starting in January, April, July or October. This course is a great way to stay in Japan for an extended time, improve your Japanese proficiency to a high level, and maybe even work part-time too! You'll study 20 class hours per week - two classes focus on grammar, and two classes focus on applying your skills to real-world situations. Classes have a maximum of 8 students, and focus on communication skills for daily life, rather than academic Japanese. Our Standard Japanese Course in Fukuoka uses interesting and modern materials and activities to focus on improving your Japanese speaking ability in a way that gives you the flexibility to adapt to new situations, until one day you won't even need a teacher anymore!Small-group classes are given both inside and outside of the classroom - you will learn essential communication techniques in structured lessons with the teacher, then practice them in real-world situations. NOTE: Depending on the classes you are placed in, you will get Morning classes some day and other days afternoon classes. It's impossible to tell what time you will be having classes at this stage, as the schedule for each week only gets released the week before once you have started your course. Morning classes are from 9:30-13:10. Afternoon classes are from 11:25-15:50 or 14:05-17:45.

Note:  Start Dates: For complete beginners the first Monday of the month, for other levels it can be any Monday but depending on the level and availability.
